I love teaching people how to really get to grips with their sewing machines and get to know presser feet and needles, which is why this is one of the classes I am teaching at the Great British Sewing Bee Live next week. All four of my classes are fully booked, which is very satisfying. In fact, nearly all 113 classes at the show are fully booked! It’s going to be a busy show.
Using the right foot for the job makes it so much easier to get great results, and there are so many fabulous feet to use. My Craftsy.com class The Sewer’s Toolbox: Presser Feet and Needles continues to sell well too, so I have got a fab discount to offer anyone interested.

During the 9 lessons, that you can watch again and again, you will learn all about the different feet, and what you can do with them. Of course, I show how to identify, attach and use them for their main purpose, but also add some tips on using them for different techniques (well, it’s only proper to expand the boundaries!) The other thing I love about the craftsy class is that there is a question/answer column right alongside the video, so viewers post questions, which I then answer. It makes it all more ‘alive’ really.
Well my bags are packed, my classroom materials all bagged up and I am ready to go to the show. If you are coming – do pop along to the workshop booking desk and say hello.
